About Dawn

My journey to becoming an acupuncturist began when I developed repetitive motion injuries while working as a professional musician.  Desperate to feel better, I did everything I could to make the pain go away. However, many months of various therapies didn't seem to make a difference.  Finally, I met an acupuncturist and although I was unsure of how acupuncture could help me, I set aside my skepticism and began treatment.

What I experienced was completely unexpected.  Over the course of several sessions, I began to notice not only less physical pain, but a whole shift in my emotional and mental state.  I was feeling happier, calmer, and less stressed in all areas of my life.  Other physical symptoms, for which I wasn't necessarily seeking treatment, began to change for the better as well.  I felt strongly that I was meant to share the many benefits of acupuncture with others, and excitedly headed off to begin my training.
